Amaranta Montepulciano d’Abruzzo – Tenuta Ulisse

The Amaranta Montepulciano d’Abruzzo is an exceptional wine from Tenuta Ulisse winery. The price quality relationship has left us positively surprised… kudos Casa Vini for the recommendation.

This 2018 vintage scored 99 points from Luca Maroni in his Best Italian Wines Annual. Luca is one of Italy’s most renowned wine critics – Italy’s James Halliday or Jeremy Oliver if you like – and for the latest edition of his annual wine annual, over 11,000 wines were tasted.  Furthermore, with a 4.3 out of 5 rating in Vivino, it must be considered one of the finest Italian wines.
