Marsovin Cheval Franc 2018
Yesterday, we opened this wonderful, locally produced, 2018 Cheval Franc from Marsovin. Personally, I love everything about this bottle of wine. The strong body, dark red colour and the flavours really make it an excellent wine for all occasions. No wonder it is “the highest-priced wine made from Cabernet – Syrah/Shiraz in Malta” (Wine-Searcher). Really looking forward to compare it to the 2019 vintage as it the most highly rated year for this wine (Vivino).

An artful blend of Cabernet Franc and Shiraz, this medium bodied ruby red wine has distinct peppery and herbaceous aromas and is excellent on its own or as an accompaniment to more complex meat dishes, oriental cuisine and rich pasta sauces.
